The Prabbits - Happy Dogfights

When Nodragem Games asked me to score the soundtrack to their wonderfully chaoticaerial party game, I couldn’t help but get caught up in the energy of the Prabbit pilots as they spiralled, barrel-rolled, and kicked each other in the air. The soundtrack had to fit with all the chaos and get players into the action without losing the game’s cheeky, mischievous heart.

To keep things balanced, I created each cue based on fast-paced string ostinatos and loud brass blasts that sounded like afterburners and slapstick punchlines combined. Woodwind flourishes that sound like playful wingmen swoop in, and layers of loud percussion—thundering toms, clattering snares, and the occasional kitchen-sink crash—add carnival-scale flair to each loop-de-loop.

These parts work together to make a score that never stops pushing players forward, winks at every aerial fight, and most importantly, keeps everyone smiling even when fur and feathers are flying. I’m so happy to have written music that makes the competition more exciting and celebrates the fun at the heart of Nodragem’s crazy flying. Here’s to hearing those songs blast through living rooms all over the place as friends try to beat each other.
